Why a Better Theme Was Needed

WordPress has always been an excellent blogging tool and content management system. And the available themes (premium or free themes) allow basic customization. You could adjust where your widgets went (such as Blogroll, Recent Posts and Twitter) and preset color schemes. But that was about it.
